We are David & Regina Long, proud and happy parents to
A Quiverfull ~ and Then Some

"Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him. Children born to a young man are like arrows in the hands of a warrior. How joyful is the man whose quiver is full of them!" Psalm 127: 3-5


No, we are not a part of the "Quiverfull Movement." However, we do have many children and we have always loved that scripture. We are grateful for our large blended family, and that we were put together a little differently than most...some by birth, some by marriage and some by the miracle of adoption. We personally love our unique blend and think it is best of all possible worlds...
"The Kingdom of Heaven is like a Treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid and FROM JOY OVER IT he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Again the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. One day he found a Pearl of great value; he returned home, sold everything he had and bought that most precious Pearl. Matthew 13:44-46

We have been incredibly blessed to have found FOUR just such treasures; Pearls of Great Value...hidden away in the dust of China and Vietnam ~ waiting for their time of discovery. Now home with us and a part of our quiverfull, they continue to amaze and BLESS us daily with just how wonderful they are.

And just when we thought we may be done, we discover SEVEN more exquisite treasures, hidden away in a tropical paradise. These little ones are also waiting ever so patiently for their own home and family. AS it turns out, we believe that WE are that home and family for these precious ones. Stay with us as we begin yet another journey of Faith, this time to a beautiful Central American Country for our newest children. We think it's gonna be quite the journey.
