Welcome To Our Journal

As we await Ciara's arrival, we'd like to welcome you to our journal and thank you for visiting and taking this journey with us.

Roger and I were married August 21, 1999.  We live on our farm in northwestern Pennsylvania with our daughter Leyna and our granddaughter Logan May, and we are anxiously awaiting our daughter's referral from China.

Through this online journal we hope to document for Ciara the long months ahead of us as we wait for our referral, our trip finally to China, and then bits and pieces of Ciara's life with her new and permanent family.  Please feel free to leave comments for us that we will share with Ciara when she is older.

UPDATE!!! (May 13, 2008)

As everyone can see, there's going to be another addition to our family as we also await the arrival of Civana Cae from Kazakhstan, which hopefully will occur sometime next fall of 2009.

Just like with Ciara, we will also be documenting Civana's journey to us and our journey to go get her and bring her home, which appears is going to happen  long before we can finally bring Ciara home.

Please continue to pray for our family and both our future daughters.
