Some time ago Tricia and I stumbled on another website called The Story of You and were very much encouraged by the people who were recording their journeys. I can remember printing out piles of pages of journal entries to take home to Tricia. She and the girls would have a grand time reading them.
There were some things that I thought could be enhanced with what I saw on some on some of the other journaling websites, but was greatly inspired by what they were doing. So, I sat down with Terry Riegel, a buddy of mine, and starting talking through all that we could do.
There are still lots of details that need to be worked out and bugs to fix, but we're finally up and running and we already have four brave souls who have signed up!
One of the things that I'm excited about, thanks to Terry's expertise, is the ability to gather the journal entries from these other sites and make them viewable from my site, thereby making it a central hub for people to come and be encouraged. (*April 3: I was asked to remove references to these other sites by the owners of them. I am willing to grant their request, so this feature is no longer available)
