GRACE!
Zhuang Lukang
February 27, 2006

Praise the Lord!

We just got off the phone (3:15 p.m. EST) from our adoption advocate informing us of our new sweet child.

Zhuang Lukang ("Kang Kang" is her nickname) was born July 21, 2005. She currently weighs 12 pounds and is 25 inches long (she was 5 lbs., 5 oz. and 17 inches at birth). Just a tiny little thing.

She was abandoned on July 22, 2005 in Jiang Xi Province. She is now located in the Yifeng Social Welfare Institute.

We are so happy and offer thanks to God for His kindness to us and for graciously giving us Grace.

I'll be writing more later, but for now I need to wipe my eyes and blow my nose.

Hey Brown Family!

First - I love the new links!
Second I love the short film! I feel like I've finally met you guys! You have a Lovely Family! Your referral day went smoother then mine since - despite all our plans, our advocate couldn't get through on my work phone, so our video is pretty one sided!

Blessings - The Fain Family!

I'm SO EXCITED for you and for Grace! I've been living here right next to Guangzhou for 4 years now, and you are the first adopting family I know. I can see the pictures, but I can't get the video. I hope I can meet Grace, too!

Hi, I just wanted to say congratulations on your new daughter. I am a grandma in waiting as my daughter and son in law are in the middle of their paper chase right now through Childrens Hope Internetional in KS. Your story and video have given me much hope for my little girl who has tried for so long to become a mommy. Good luck to you and all of your children. Any info you would like to share as to what to expect, time wise or whatever would be appreciated.

We are so thrilled for you as we saw little Grace being put into your arms! What a joy must be in your hearts at this joyous time. Morgan was just beaming in Sunday School as she told of how it went! We are anxious to see this sweet little bundle of joy!

Finally found your email in bulk mail! What a thrill to read and see all the information. Know you cannot wait to bring Grace home. Stan said they showed the pictures at church Sunday and they were so amazed at how small Grace was....Praying for you a safe trip home.

Love,
Kathleen
