Welcome To Our Journal
Welcome! We have started to post almost exclusively at our own site, One Blessed Family. Our journey to Lydia is over. Our lives with her have just begun! We recently broke the news to our friends and family that we are "expecting" again. Our dossier is waiting for INS approval, and Lord-willing, we will be receiving Samuel into our family early Summer, 2007. Following are the links to our adoption trip. We traveled from St Louis to Beijing on November 16 and returned home with our Lydia on December 2, 2006. I hope our experience will be encouraging to anyone considering older child adoption. Lydia is a beautiful person with a wonderful spirit and our lives would truly be incomplete without her. November 16 - Lydia, your family is on the way!!
