We're home. I have a few posts to go back and add from our last few days in Ethiopia and our 40 hour adventure getting home. Good times. Our 10 hour stopover in Dubai put the nail in the coffin for us; that's the last time we'll go there. Not a good (more)... |
Welcome To Our Journal
We began our dossier (paperwork) to adopt from Ethiopia in early June 2008. Having done this a few too many times, I had everything ready to go in a week. Compared with our last adoption, things have gone very smoothly. There's really no comparison between the two processes, which is a good thing, because Mattix needs a mom, not someone who sits on the couch for four months and cries. :) We waited nine months to bring Mattix home and we didn't know when that would happen until three days before we left for Vietnam. We knew when we'd bring Molley home on March 6th, just three months after we received her surprise referral. However, just like last time, we are filled with anticipation and excitement. We can't wait to meet our baby girl and become her parents. We can't wait to explore her birth country and learn as much as wek can during the time we are there. And, of course, we're looking forward to a few days in Dubai! Thanks for following our trip to Molley.
