Welcome to our on-line adoption journal! If you are reading this journal, you are someone we have invited to share our "Red Thread Journey" to our daughter in China. Some of you are family, some are friends. Many of you have prayed for us or are praying for us. Thank you! Some of you may be just finding out what this whole adoption thing is all about. God is blessing so many families and children through the miracle of adoption. We hope our journey is a blessing to you, and that reading it reminds you to continue to pray for us and for the families and sweet children who will be touched by adoption in the years to come.

And just in case you don't know... there is a Chinese proverb that says an invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet. Regardless of time, place, or circumstances, the thread may stretch or tangle but will never break.
