Welcome To My Journal
Hello! My name is Kim. The adoption journey for a single woman has its own special challenges...but it is an exciting journey! I continue to see God working in the details of my adoption journey. If you are single I encourage you to consider adoption. Since I was a little girl I have wanted two things...to be a wife and a mother. Along the way God has had other plans for my life. But, God has been good to me. I have loving parents, three great brothers, two wonderful sister-in-laws, three terrific nephews and one terrific niece. They have been a great encouragement to me. My adoption journey began in 2002 as I began to pray for God's direction regarding adopting a daughter. After two years I knew God had a child for me and so began my adoption journey. I'm truly thankful for God's calling in my life. From the very beginning I felt called to adopt a beautiful daughter from China. After attending a Steven Curtis Chapman concert I knew God wanted me to adopt a daughter from China. Someday soon my daughter, Della Grace, will be safely home. Della is named after my beloved grandmother...Della Thompson. "For you did not receive a spirt that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship.
